Scarlett Winters, N.D., is an ANCB certified traditional naturopath. She has been working in the field of natural health for over a decade. Her training includes crisis and bereavement counseling, Reiki training in Southern Indiana, and a Doctor of Naturopathy degree from Clayton College of Natural Health in Birmingham, Alabama. She seeks to educate clients and the public regarding ways to experience vitality and health on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Her passion is supporting people who are living with arthritis, cancer, and grief. However, she gladly works with all people in improving the quality of their lives and health. Particular focus is maintained on working with other health practitioners in a mutually beneficial relationship to serve the needs of our clients/patients to the best of our abilities.
These goals are accomplished through assessment, education, and natural therapies. Before your first naturopathy appointment you will receive a welcome packet containing initial paperwork. When you arrive at the appointment a non-invasive assessment is performed that may include such methods as pulse, tongue, nail, and iris analysis. In the first appointment, which often lasts 1 1/2 to 2 hours, your practitioner will do her best to listen to you, take time to answer your questions, and empower you to make informed decisions about your health. Time for natural therapies may also be a part of the initial appointment. After the appointment the client will have an individualized wellness plan that addresses his/her health goals.
